Champagne LOUIS ROEDERER Blanc de Blancs 2015

The 2015 Blanc de Blancs cuvée from Louis Roederer is a mature, sculpted, pure, and vertical wine: a concentrate of Avize chalk!

This champagne is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in Avize, a Grand Cru terroir in the Côte des Blancs, renowned for the exceptional quality of its grapes. This cuvée is partially vinified in wood (16%), and malolactic fermentation was not carried out to preserve all of the wine's freshness. The bottles matured for 5 years in the house's cellars, and the wine is dosed Brut, at 8 g/L.

The year 2015 represents an extraordinary harvest, but also the recognition of Champagne as a UNESCO World Heritage site! Thanks to a fresh late summer, the maturation of the berries will give birth to juicy, ripe, and concentrated grapes!

This champagne has a brilliant golden color with subtle green reflections, and its effervescence is soft, creamy, and ultra-fine.
