Winemaking and Aging

The very hot weather and extremely dry conditions significantly impacted phenolic ripening, which is why we started September almost "begging" for rain! But in the end, we carried out the harvest during the driest September of the last 22 years.

Douro wines are complete wines that age perfectly in the bottle. We used a small proportion of Touriga Franca in this unique and exclusive wine, a grape that we find essential in our productions.

The ideal agreements

Serve at 16-17°C, with your favorite red meat or cheeses. Can be aged in a cellar for up to 10 years.
